Started in the year 1981 with an objective to provide artificial limbs to physically challenged and underprivileged people, KMYF’s Artificial Limb Center is a fully self-sufficient unit that has provided artificial limbs and calipers free of cost to over 53000 disabled persons till date, thus enabling them to lead their lives independently and with dignity. We have demonstrated end to end expertise ranging from indigenous manufacturing of artificial limbs and calipers employing the latest technology to providing training, counselling and rehabilitation of physically challenged people.

GOALS : OUR MISSION AND VISION



To manufacture and facilitate fittings of Artificial Limbs to Physically Challenged persons at free of cost in various places by conducting camps within Bangalore and outside.

QUALITY

The Artificial Limb Center is self-sufficient in all respects. Materials used for manufacture of limbs are mostly indigenous and are purchased from Jaipur and manufactured by Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Samithi.

 

TECHNOLOGY

Concerted efforts are made to conduct research work and improve the quality of artificial limbs and appliances. There is a special emphasis on use of newer material and to keep pace with technological advancements

 

REHABILITATION

Artificial Limb Centre has had to adapt to changing needs of patients to uphold its long tradition of providing the best chance for rehabilitation.
